After a long search for the right property, Arthur and John found the right home for Adora Inn in the charming, historic central Florida town of Mount Dora. Monroe Patterson, and early developer, built the house as a duplex in 1916. The new owners preserved the historic elements of the building but gave it a modern spin. Arthur placed his original art in the guest rooms. John made sure all the furnishing were comfortable. Together, they created a stylish and comfortable retreat.
Both Innkeepers love good food and enjoy meeting and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. Breakfast at Adora Inn is when everyone has the chance to connect while sharing stories and experiences. The Innkeepers also act as a Concierge service, helping guests to plan their tours, choose restaurants and other activities in and around Mount Dora. In-house dining options and creative packages and services like in-room massage are offered to enhance the guest experience at Adora Inn.
